A Dynamic Duo – Google Forms and Google Maps – WCSS 2013
11 Mar 2013 Chuck Taft
Holy powerful social studies tools, Batman! Google has a pair of awesome platforms that are easy to use for teachers and students. Come and see (and develop) creative uses of two of Google’s powerful applications in this hands-on session. Different methods of implementing Google Forms will be demonstrated, including activating student knowledge, student discussion responses, collaborative poetry, and creative historical “tweets”. Historical student created “road trips” will be demonstrated through the use of Google Maps, and additional ideas for implementation will be discussed. Bring your laptop or tablet and dive in as the session progresses!
