Some general American history sites

The History Channel - Hopefully, you have seen some of the excellent shows on the History Channel (unless you are cable-deficient). The site is pretty neat, including some fun and games.

Got a question about the Presidents? Check out the Internet Public Library POTUS or the White House

The History Net - A very comprehensive site containing articles from a variety of magazines. A great site to browse, or search the various topics for a specific event or person.

From Revolution to Reconstruction - This is a huge hypertext or American history, and it includes biographical sketches, essays, and primary source documents, as well as a historical narrative of the U.S. Not many great images, but a worthwhile site for text.

USHistory.org - A site with a great deal of Colonial and Revolutionary Era information. According to Brad N., "it is full of facts, pictures, documents, and many other good links". Thanks, Brad!
