DO YOU WANT TO SUCCEED? 2012

In June, I asked my graduating historians to give some words of wisdom to their successors. Here are a few tidbits of advice from last year's students.

In order to succeed in 8th Grade American History ...

Try to get your homework done at a reasonable time and set yourself to work on NHD.

      CHECK THE SITE, every day.

      Don't insult Taft's Italian paper

Don't be afraid to answer questions in class.

Organization actually is the key to success.

Do not make bets with Mr. Taft. You will fail miserably.

Always do your homework like your practicing for your a big football game, not just to do it.

Bring all your materials and a smile.

ASK QUESTIONS! It all makes a lot more sense.

      Dont deny Mr. Taft's ninjaness.

      Use rubrics when doing assignments.

      Bring him Peach Jolly Ranchers.

DONT TELL TAFT WHAT PEOPLE U THINK R HOT :)

      Participate in simulations.

Be enthusiastic about what you are learning!

Listen to Mr. Taft, he knows what hes doing :)

Get notes if you were sick.

      Do extra reading from online.

Taft is always (well most of the time) right.

Enjoy it while it lasts -you don't have Taft next year.

Dont do your homework before school... He will see you.
